I strongly believe that the presentation of food is what entices my family and guests to be excited about eating at our home. Recently, I took the traditional cheese and cracker board and transformed it into a pancake board, waffle board, and flatbread pizza board. Anything in bulk works great on boards. Homemade Pancakes and/or waffles are great to freeze and pop in the toaster for a yummy breakfast. Excited to hear about what your family loves on your new food boards.

Pancake Board
Pancake boards will become a regular in your home. Amazing for daily use and entertaining.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups whole wheat flour (or 1 cup regular flour and ½ cup whole wheat flour)
- .5 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk of your choice
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp agave (or sweetener of your choice)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Sift the first 3 ingredients into a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, wisk the remaining wet ingredients
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and whisk until combined
- For pancakes- add 2 Tbsp to a greased hot skillet, cook for 1-2 minutes/side, bottoms should be golden
- For waffles- add ½ cup batter to a greased waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer’s directions (approx. 4 minutes)
- *We typically double recipe and freeze as they go quickly in my house
