Salad Dressings

The possibilities with salad dressings are endless. I eat salads daily and I like to change up the dressing often. These 3 are currently in my fridge and enjoyed by all either as a dressing or even a marinade and/or dip.

Zesty Tahini Dressing

Tahini is a great protein source and satisfying flavour to add to your dressings.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium tamari or soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until combined.

Peanut Salad Dressing

The addition of peanut makes a flavourful and nutrient dense Asian dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (natural(
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger, chopped
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp low sodium tamari or soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Water, to thin

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until combined. Add water to thin.

Cilantro Lime Dressing

This dressing is for all the cilantro lovers. Amazing with all your Mexican dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/2-1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground coriander

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until combined.
