Chocolate Granola
This healthy chocolate granola is perfect for breakfast, dessert, or even a snack. Made with oats, cacao powder, flaxseeds & honey. Vegan and gluten-free.
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup ground flaxseeds
- 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup honey
- 5 tbsp unsweetened cacoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the coconut oil, honey, vanilla, cacao powder, salt, and cinnamon. Stir until a paste forms.
- Fold in the oats and flaxseeds. Mix until all the chocolate paste is coating the oats.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer.
- Bake 30 minutes, stirring halfway.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top. Stir gently to fold the chocolate chips into the granola.
- Allow granola to cool before storing in an airtight container at room temperature.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature. It will last for up to a month.
