Best ever crispy baked tofu prepared in minutes. Amazing on its own like nuggets or add it to spiralized veggies. Will become a staple in your home as it is that good. The key to crispy and delicious tofu is to cut it first in your desired shape and then press and drain all the water out with a cloth. Tofu is an excellent source of protein and calcium and also contains essential amino acids.

Crispy baked tofu can be enjoyed with a beet tahini drizzle, hummus, or even honey mustard. The possibilities are truly endless.

Crispy Baked Tofu

Best ever crispy baked tofu prepared in minutes. Amazing on its own like nuggets or add it to spiralized veggies. Will become a staple in your home as it is that good.

Prep Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 package (350g) extra firm tofu, drained and pressed
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 tbsp oat flour
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375° and line a baking tray with parchment.
  • Cut drained and pressed tofu into 1/2 inch cubes and add to a bowl. Drizzle on olive oil.
  • Combine the nutritional yeast, oat flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a small bowl and toss into the bowl with the tofu. Coat tofu well.
  • Place tofu on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 30 minutes, turning frequently, until the tofu is golden brown and crispy.

Optional: drizzle with tahini or hummus.
