Teriyaki Beef Meatballs
These teriyaki meatballs are the perfect balance of being sticky, sweet, and tangy. Serve alongside your favorite grain and veggie. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- ⅓ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
Teriyaki Sauce
- ⅓ cup low sodium soy sauce
- 2-3 tbsp water, as needed
- 2 tbsp mirin or rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp cornstarch
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, and soy sauce. Form into 1" meatballs.
- In a small bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, leave to the side.
- Preheat a large skillet to medium heat with oil. Add ground meat meatballs to cook until browned and cooked throughout, rotating often. To know if they are cooked, cut open the largest meatball to make sure it is no longer pink.
- When done, pour in teriyaki sauce to cook until sticky and thickened, about 2-3 minutes, tossing meatballs frequently.
