Brown Rice Krispie Treats
Who doesn't love rice krispie squares? I promise you will love these krispie rice treats even more. Made with wholesome ingredients for the whole family to enjoy, like brown rice and nut butter. Must try!!!

brown crispy rice cereal

cacoa nibs

smooth nut butter
1/3
cup
maple syrup

coconut oil (melted)
Melted dark chocolate, for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, stir together the brown rice cereal and cacao nibs.
In a small saucepan, combine the nut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil. Stir constantly over low heat until melted, 1-3 minutes.
Pour the melted nut butter mixture into the bowl and mix until the cereal is coated.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press down on it with a spatula to form an even layer.
Chill the mixture in the fridge until set, about 1 hour. Slice into 9 bars and drizzle some chocolate, if desired.
Notes
Best to leave stored in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
