Chocolate Granola

This healthy chocolate granola is perfect for breakfast, dessert, or even a snack. Made with oats, cacao powder, flaxseeds & honey. Vegan and gluten-free.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup ground flaxseeds
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 5 tbsp unsweetened cacoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325°. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the coconut oil, honey, vanilla, cacao powder, salt, and cinnamon. Stir until a paste forms.
  • Fold in the oats and flaxseeds. Mix until all the chocolate paste is coating the oats.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer.
  • Bake 30 minutes, stirring halfway.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top. Stir gently to fold the chocolate chips into the granola.
  • Allow granola to cool before storing in an airtight container at room temperature.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature. It will last for up to a month.
