Chocolate Flourless Cake

The most delicious flourless chocolate cake made with only 5 ingredients. This simple and chocolatey cake will be loved by all as it is gluten free and paleo friendly.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cacao powder
  • 3/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350° and grease an 8" round baking dish.
  • In a medium sauce pan, melt the coconut oil over medium heat.
  • Remove pan from the stove and stir in the chocolate chips to melt.
  • Once the pan has cooled off slightly, whisk in the eggs, coconut sugar, cacao powder, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Pour into baking dish and bake in oven for approx 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. The cake will continue to cook once removed from the oven and you do not want it to dry out.
  • Allow the cake to cool and top with extra cacao powder.
  • Slice and Enjoy.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for 5 days.
