Salmon Burgers

The secret to these salmon burgers is using fresh salmon instead of the typical canned salmon. These nutritious burgers are moist, juicy, and packed with amazing flavours.

I am sure by now you can tell that I am a huge salmon lover. This was my first time making salmon burgers with fresh salmon vs canned and it was definitely worth the extra effort. Wild salmon is more nutrient-dense than farmed salmon. However, they both contain little saturated fat, are high in protein and vitamin B12. Salmon also contains a high amount of potassium, vitamin D, and iron.

Serve these burgers with a lettuce wrap or your favorite bun. Have fun with the toppings. Anything works…
