Acai Bowl
Acai will become your new superfood in your diet. So many ways to use and the benefits and taste are amazing.
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1 3.5 oz. pack frozen acai berries (or 2 tsp of acai powder)
- 1 banana (fresh or frozen)
- 2 tbsp milk of your choice
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- Toppings: goji berries, granola, fresh fruit, coconut flakes, Medjool dates
In a small frying pan, melt the coconut oil over medium-high heat. Add the coconut flakes and toast for 2-3 minutes, and set aside.
Using a high powered blender, break the acai pack into large pieces.
Add the banana, almond butter, and milk and process until smooth.
Pour the mixture into a bowl and garnish with toasted coconut flakes and other toppings of your choice.
